4-H

4-H

Olivia was is 4-H this year and did quite well. She entered 8 projects 3 cooking, 4 scrap booking, and 1 sewing. She also modeled the skirt that she sewed. She earned 4 blue ribbons and 5 red ones. She loved the cooking and scrap booking, but the sewing took a long time! For cooking she made a cake, brownies and her favorite, potato chips. The microwave potato chips earned a blue ribbon. I think she'll do it again next year, but choose an easier sewing project or not sew. We'll see!

She had to bring a boxed desert for an auction also. This Swiss miss chocolate container holds 2 dozen cookies. We couldn't resist putting the Got Milk sign with our chocolate chip cookies and that udder! (I guess I put the udder on after the pictures since you can't see it.)

Great job Olivia! I think that your talents run in the family! I never did 4-H but my husband and his family did and they enjoyed it! Take care!

What a talented girl! I remember modeling the outfit I made in 4H, it was a shirt & shorts made out of just about the ugliest material imaginable but at the time I thought it was pretty cool. She did a great job on that cute skirt & that cow with the Got Milk sign is adorable!

I just learned what 4-H is. Some girls from my young women group are involved in that.
So, let me congratulate Olivia in all her hard work!!
