WHERE?

Where did the summer go?

After this summer we can appreciate the sacrifices early pioneers had to make.  Except, it only took us 24 hours to drive their 3 month journey (in an air conditioned car, with padded seats, pit stops, and various food choices)  Also, No boat ride or pulling a handcart or lost children or freezing or starving to death. 

Some summer Highlights:

Mike has been in the car for over 10,000 miles.

Said goodbye to good friends in Tennessee
Stayed in Indianapolis on Indy 500 weekend
Drove to Michigan
Stayed with Hunts (Thank you SO MUCH!)
Had fun with friends
Drove to Utah
Stayed with Kevin's Family
Fun at Park with Mike's family
Had a talk with Uncle Dave
Cursed Uncle Dave
Knucklehead
Stayed with Tamra
Visited Temple Square (as seen above!)
Stayed with Jami
Saw my new 3 pound nephew
Mike flew to Michigan
We stayed with Jeanette and Lindsey
Dallin had a birthday shout hooray
Stayed with Emily
Kade caught a huge fish
Got to see Erin
Mike drove from Michigan again
Stayed with Trent
Got to see Nate
Stayed with Bevans
Drove to McDermitt NV to stay with my Parents (Thank you)
Mike roofed and had job interviews
Mike got a job in Payette
Found a house to buy (Not-so-short-sale)
Thomas Reunion at Diane's house
Kelly went to Twin Falls for Grandmother
Kelly got tricked into a puppy
Mike built an old west town
Olivia went to girls camp
Mike drove to Michigan and back with Kev and Jared
Unloaded our stuff again
Kade got in his first vehicle accident ($360)
Watched a 500,000 acre fire spread in the desert
Petersen Family Reunion in Heber City
Had a cold made everyone sick-that seems to be a pattern for us
Made T-shirts
Licked the salt flats
Mike and Kelly 10 year anniversary
Currently waiting in McDermitt for a house and school to start.
