Talent?

I'm writing a post on talents, but before I post it I want to know what you think?

Define Talent. (I'm NOT digging for compliments.)  I'm just curious.

Talent: When you can do something with ease that is harder for other people to do. Something that comes naturally.

I think we all have talents that we were blessed with, but the require cultivation. like kasey said, sometimes they come easily, but not always. some have to be worked at and developed, but we've all got 'em.

I know you're not "diggin" for compliments, but girl!!! You've got talent! Making things out of not things. Thats talent. Creating. Thats talent. Living with that husband of yours and surviving with a smile. Thats talent. (Will you please tell him I said that? ;))

Good ole Webster says it's an ancient unit of weight or money. :) He also says it's a superior ability in an art, etc. I'm thinking that's what you're looking for. Again, we've all got them, but it's up to us to discover what they are. Some are obvious, others...not so much!

Let's see--The parable of the talents teaches that if given one talent, we should invest and develop additional talents until we increase in talents hundred fold. Right? So a talent is anything you've learned to do. And do well. Then you gain the confidence to learn and do something else, and your courage increases, so you try something else, again, and again, until you're perfect and able to make anything look awesome like Kelly Thomas in Emmett, ID--the GENIUS of all things creative. How's that?

Oh please...we all know you are BEGGING for the compliments. You also know that we will happily oblige because you're so @#*! amazing (are you proud of me for bleeping out the four letter word?) I did learn the swearing part from you, but not the bleeping part. just so you know.
