Gingerbread

For 4-H Olivia made a gingerbread house/igloo and entered it in the county Christmas contest.  It was fun to watch her array of emotions as she was waiting to see if she had placed or not.  She was nervous and excited and at one point even disappointed.  By the time we got there she was so giddy Kade and I weren't sure we wanted to be seen with her.  She eventually calmed and after seeing that she did get first place for her age group (14 and under) the emotions were gone.  All that was left was a small smile that I knew meant ~ It's Over!

(Little does she know that uncontrollable emotions will soon be coming to visit and stay ~ the joys of being a girl!)

We miss you guys so much and hope it is not too long before we could see you again. I have a new phone number now Kelly. It is 209.408.2740. Kind of a pain that it is not local anymore....sorry! Looks like you guys are having tons of fun in the snow. Make an extra snowman for us!
