Last year the other kids got to take soccer but Halle wanted dance. She LOVES it. She is taking tap, jazz and her very own Halle hip-hop style. I was worried that she would be nervous on stage. (I took dance and hated dancing on stage, so I assume everyone is like me.) Not so you would notice with her, she was all smiles and show! Sentimental Bit Ahead: Mike got to come with some of the boys he works with and it made her day that he was there. I can tell her a million times how good, pretty, talented, smart ect. she is, but it doesn't mean anything until Dad says it. I think that is where kids learn long term self-esteem - from a Dad. A mom always says nice things that make you feel good, but when Dad says it, it is different. I know it was for me, and I see it in my kids. I don't think it is an accident that we have a Mom and a Dad, infact it is truly inspired.
I think Grandpa Richard put it best when he said, "I liked when Halle did Halle's dance." The girl has some moves, they just weren't always choreographed!

Oh my gosh, I want to see Halle's dance!!! She is getting so pretty...not just cute, but really pretty. Don't tell Mike!
