Fun and Games

 We have an island not far from our house where we like to go.  It was a little chilly, this day, but we had fun playing kick ball.  The week before we hide eggs and went on an hunt.  It is always great fun!

Olivia, the catcher - I think the mask got in the way, but she claimed otherwise.

   It was all fun and games until someone got hurt.

 I hit my daughter in the head with a bat.

I was showing her how to swing a bat and I connected right into her head.

It made me sick.

My body went into shock, I wanted to vomit.

Not to worry, she only has a small goose egg to show for it. . .and a lot of sympathy from her Mom and the witness, her Dad.

This is the spot, but there is nothing to see.

She milked this one and I don't blame her.  A wooden bat right to your head makes for a terrible sound and a lot of pain.  Fun and Games.  Fun and Games.
