Some thoughts.

The beautiful smokey mountains in front of my house.

This was some of my my first e-mail, but I've mellowed a bit.

I've had a bit of culture shock. . .grown men do not wear shirts here. . .ever. . .I may be exaggerating a bit.  If they do have a shirt on the arms are ripped off. I feel like we moved next door to Larry the cable guy and his sister Holy Moley.   (You see why I need my camera?!)

And then there's METH; I have not seen exactly what meth does to you until I moved here.
I think I might try it out:
PLUS SIDE:
1.  I'll lose weight. . .skin and bones.
2.  Scabs:  I have been known to scratch a mosquito bite into a scab.  I also will pick a zit on
occasion. So, scabs are good!

3.  Teeth:  After a while they all rot out anyway, so NO more Brushing. . .Yeah!!!

4.  I don't have to pay attention to people I don't want to because I CAN'T I'll be to jittery.

5.  I'm pretty sure it is against the word of wisdom and we all know that means a 10% increase

and an extra day of real rest!!

6.  I can express who I really am in the form of a tattoo - right up my alley. . .right?!  (I didn't

mean I'd put the tat up my alley. . .I've said too much.)

Okay, so needless to say I'm kidding!  I know -hilarious- or something.  Anyway I must admit

it is beautiful here.  We love our property and after dreaming a while there is potential in this

house.  We won't by it but, I can at least dream of fixing it up.

I just got called as Young Women's President.  Looking at he ward (branch) list to see who my

councilor will be I've realized this is the Lords decision because I don't know anyone's names

yet.  Fun Fun.

I am doing preschool at home with Dallin and Makayla.  She loves it - he likes play-dough

snakes.  I'm into creativity so that works for me.  Dallin is also obsessed with orange.  It is his

favorite color and he only will drink out of an orange cup.  The problem is we only have 1

orange cup and 24 red ones.  This makes life fun at times.  Like when he is tired!

All of the other kids are doing well.  Olivia has her first cross-country meet today!  We'll see

how that goes.  I have no idea if she is any good or not.

Halle has lots of friends and can read like Mike (that's good. . . I think.)  She does have to pull

a ticket (stay in at recess) at school from time to time.  Weird how I eventually hear the whole

story, but never at once.  She is Mike.  Some details about what she did are not nearly as

important as what the other kid did to deserve the ticket.  Justify first.  Then you can brag

about how well you handled the situation.  Did I mention she is just like her father.

Blake loves it here.  So much freedom.  Kade is doing much better, he made a friend.  Just

one.  I didn't realize just how shy he is.  Everyone tells me to get a dog for him.  I remember

why I don't want one.  I guess it isn't about me.  Just this once.  I guess.
