I wish I had a good camera to capture the beauty of this double rainbow. It was a good storm with thunder and lightning and the really dark clouds. Then to the west of us the sun peaked through just a bit. Shinning like you see in pictures when some one receives revelation. We all went out side to see and we watched the rainbow form. Soon it was two rainbows. These pictures I took didn't catch the awe inspiring beauty we saw.
The primary song When I Am Baptized came to my mind, "I like to look for rainbows whenever there is rain and ponder on the beauty of an earth made clean again. I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain. I want to be the best I can and live with God again." Usually when I see a rainbow I think Yes, I have another year or that pot of gold would be nice! I only noticed the beauty this time. I am ashamed that the world has taken this gift and added such poor connotations to it. This Rainbow is a promise. What are my promises? Do I keep them? Do I want to be the best I can? Do you?

Are those the pictures? That is amazing. So beautiful. And to answer your question about taking pictures of my child misbehaving. It's bad. Everytime she does something now I take a picture for the blog, and then I can't spank her after I take her picture. It's gotten out of control. Yikes.
